Build the schedule from the drawings, then audit it against them.
The master door schedule and the floor plans disagree more often than anyone would like. Doors drawn on plan never make it into the schedule. The fire ratings on the schedule contradict the life safety plan. A hardware set changes in the spec and the schedule keeps the old one. Reconciling all of it is two days of cross-referencing, so it gets done in full on the jobs where someone has two days.
CIM reads the schedule, locates every door on the plans and reconciles the two - doors on the drawings with no line in the schedule, and lines in the schedule with no door behind them. Hardware, fire ratings, acoustic ratings and finishes are audited against the specification and the life safety plan, each finding referenced to its sheet. Windows and walls run the same way.
Where no schedule exists yet, CIM builds one from the drawings. Either way it comes back as a live register that re-runs as revisions land and exports into the template your contract admin already uses.
